Two Exciting Pregnancy & TTC Events in Columbia, MO in March and April 2025

Over the past year, connections have been growing between birth workers within the mid-Missouri area. Due to these connections, there have been some pretty exciting things happening for pregnant and TTC families in the mid-Missouri area. Today, I want to highlight a couple events that are coming up in March and April 2025 that are SO exciting! I think back to when I was pregnant with my first kiddo and totally wish that I had found events like these!

Doula Speed Dating on March 22, 2025 at The Armory Sports and Recreation Center in Columbia, MO

This Doula Speed Dating event is hosted by Abby Cape Doula Services on March 22, 2025 at 9:30-11:30am at the Armory Sports and Recreation Center in Columbia, MO. One of the most vital aspects of hiring a doula is making sure that you’re a great fit! However, it can feel daunting to reach out to multiple doulas in the area, coordinate a consultation with each one of them, and then let each one of them know what you decide. Instead, doula speed dating can take the pressure off, help you meet many local doulas in a single morning, and give you a good idea of who you would like to support you at your birth. Mindful Birth Prep on April 15, 2025 at Advanced Physical Health in Columbia, MO

For this Mindful Birth Prep event on April 15, 2025, Monique White, DC and I are teaming up to start offering recurring events through which we will offer valuable information and skills to pregnant or TTC families in the mid-Missouri area. We both have a heart for supporting pregnant and TTC families, and we are excited to start offering these events! Anyone within the area that would like to come can register. You will hear from both Dr. Monique and me about the biomechanics of the pelvis, supporting your body during pregnancy, and birth planning.
